(quoted from post at 19:17:45 04/20/20) The model number looks like it starts with EA214 but I can't make out the last letter. It looks like an M but I can't be sure.
EA2 is a 6600.
The 1 says it has a diesel engine.
The 4 says it has single speed independent 540 rpm PTO.
If the last character is an M then that would mean that it has an 8 speed transmission with dual power.
1A26B is the Unit Number, which means that it left the assembly line on January 26 1981 during the day shift.
C661671 is a 1981 serial number, which agrees with the Unit Number.
(quoted from post at 21:42:41 04/20/20)
I see what's left of the Blue Power Special decal on the grill shell.
Dual power is a planetary unit with clutches in the front of the transmission, it allows one to shift up or down hard a gear without clutching, pretty handy, my 6610 has it.
Look on the left side of the fuel tank shroud for a small lever sticking out the side, it connected to cable that shifted the dual power unit.
Your probably to far away but I'd like a chance at it if you decide not to get it. Would love to have the engine and trans in my 6600 row crop.
I will let you know dopp creek...I know you're in Newberg(quoted from post at 22:09:53 04/20/20) Seems like a deal to me. Even if you put 5k into it you?d make some money. Let me know if you pass because I?d take a closer look.

Looking better but still to far for me, but I've found a 7000 row crop that looks to be in the similar condition much closer for close to what you paid.
The police are on there way. Don t forget to give them a coffee.(quoted from post at 03:08:05 04/27/20)(quoted from post at 20:47:55 04/26/20)

Have the 7000 bought for $1600, one new rear tire, no attachments, I saw the box blade, I have a 7' Rhino.
By the way my name is John, not Jerry, but I'll just about answer to any name if food or cheap Ford tractors are involved.
I ll make your day, I ll give you $2000 and take it off of your hands.(quoted from post at 16:28:27 04/27/20)
The engine is Seized... pulled all the injectors.. they look OK. Also pulled starter cut it wouldn't engage with flywheel. Bending is rusted stuck in place. Crowbar on flywheel won't budge it. Dumped a bunch of diesel and oil in each cylinder to soak.
Any other tricks to break er loose
Not a real happy camper
True, want to help rock pick or help hand fence (I already did this stretch)?(quoted from post at 16:40:41 04/27/20)
No Thanks Mike..I wouldn't have anything to do then

The big problem is working on it outside in the dirt under a 10 x 10 Harbor freight Pop up. It was raining so it was a mud hole when I started on this. With the roof and ROPS it is too tall to fit into my shop. I'm sure many a Ford tractors have been rebuilt in the dirt.
