So I have tuned my Holley on my 73 3000 by ear when hot for idle mixture and it seems good, but I think it may be too rich. When coming back to idle it tends to pop a flame out of the muffler and I don t need choke to start it.
My tuning procedure is basically lean it till it runs bad then keep inching the mixture up until you don t hear an increase in rpms any more, then turn back a little.
My IT manual doesn t list carb specs so I was wondering if anybody had the idle mixture screw spec?
