How do I test my oil pressure?
I installed a new gauge cluster. My oil pressure warning light is not coming on, even right when it's started up cold.
Any suggestions?

Does it light up if you turn the key to the run position without actually starting the engine? Both the oil pressure and charging warning lights should be on at that point.

After you disconnect the wire at the sending unit you have to touch it to a ground, the side of the block should work fine. When you touch it to ground it should light up the oil pressure light and the air filter light, but seeing as how it doesn?t light up as soon as you turn the key on I?d say the bulb is burnt out. If it?s not burnt out the base of the bulb could be corroded on the inside which I have had happen many many times, or there is a 3 amp fuse in the wiring harness that could be blown it should be in a white plastic holder. You should be able to see the fuse holder if you take the cluster out. If your tractor has an air filter light you can test it by taking the two wires off the sensor towards the front of the tractor in the intake manifold, it?s a circle with two wires coming out. If you touch the two wires together the air filter light should come on.

Thanks.
I've tried all those things, except no air filter sensor.
I'll revisit the lamp socket. It looked pretty clean, but I did try to get some 200 grit sand paper in there on the tip of a small screw driver.
