Grabby clutch

Not exactly a Ford tractor, but maybe same principles apply. How does one cure a grabby clutch? This one happens to be in a Freightliner. Whole clutch assembly and flywheel are fairly new.

Clutch grabs pretty much all the time as it engages from stop. Can that be cured sans new parts? Looks like new through inspection plate. Adjusted properly. No oil or grease, etc. TIA

One thing you might check is rear engine supports. I have driven 3 different makes where a rear engine support bolt got slack or the cushion compressed. when torque was put on driveline engine would roll over
a little first with the slack before turning driveline. Shop put a new clutch in a W 900 for nothing due to this.

I've had that issue but it was more noticeable in reverse than forward.
On some trucks I've adjusted the clutch linkage so the the clutch engaged at a different height from the floor, had something to do with the bend point in my knee (my phrase), but I've notice that at a certain point I was releasing the pedal faster, adjusting the engagement height up or down changed and often fixed the issue enough that it didn't bother me to bad, those button clutches can be grabby.
