Hey guys! I have a 62 model 4000 that has me stumped. It sat the winter and now won't even try to fire. Has fresh fuel to the injectors, and plenty of fuel to the pump. I'm thinking it might be either an injection or a pump issue, But looking for some more input before I start pulling things apart.

Is there white exhaust smoke? If so injection pump is getting fuel through the injectors, but compression heat is not high enough to burn fuel. No smoke means no fuel in chamber. Did you try the Thermostart, if engine has one? Used correctly they start a cold diesel well..

No smoke when it turns over. Primed the pump and lines to the injectors. The lines where dripping fuel when I bled the air out.

Is your battery up? They will crank at just below adequate cranking speed all day and not start. I ran mine out of fuel once. I left it and went and got another tractor to finish the job then came back the next day with booster cables.
