I had a lot of responses to my post on the 850 starting issues. Thank you for the help. With a new starter button I could not get the starter to do anything. I had already replaced all the wiring on the tractor, new gauges, new solenoid from Napa, new starter button, new switch etc. new 6 volt battery which tested good, new heavy battery cables. When I tried the starter button, nothing happened. The new solenoid had a button on top that if I pushed it down the tractor would start. Took solenoid back to Napa yesterday and they gave me a new one. Now everything works as it should. Bad new solenoid.
