Ford 3000, Gauge cluster.....Update & Thanks to JCinKY

My 3000 has finally got a NEW cluster installed, and working Great, Thanks to JCinKY, for the neat pix of the wiring !! I am a dunce, when it comes to working on elect's, but those pix sure did the job for me.
Took me a few days tho.!! What with taking care of my ailing wife, Doing 'Honey Do's, and generally all the things she used to do....It's getting the time to complete some things!!

If anyone needs to exchange a 'Bad cluster, with a Good one', and do not know where the wires go......Those pix will sure make an easier job for ya.!!!!

Here is what JC said along with these pix.....:

Keyed Hot to 6
Temp sender to 1
Ground to 3
Fuel sender to 5

2, 4, and 7 are pre-wired. You can discard the jumpers you currently have.

Gary, thanks for the update. First of all, I hope your wife gets better soon. Second, I was hoping to hear from you. You posted something about the snow you got over on the 'N' site calling it global warming. I posted back, saying that I see they are now calling it climate change. I hope you didn't take that wrong. I wasn't correcting you, I just have to laugh when these politicians see that we are no longer in a warming trend, so they changed it from global warming to climate change. They still have the audacity to think they have the power to control the climate.

I ll do anything to get out of real work and talk old Fords. I m glad the diagram helped and your new toy is keeping you busy. Stop by and show Hermie some love every now and then.

That is why, when it snows here, (no matter how much amount) I call the snow.....'GLOBAL WARMING' !!! :lol: :lol:

'Mother Earth' will do what she, always does......and, WHEN she want's to!!! Mere Mortals cannot, fix it!!! JMHO!!!!
