Ive had this tractor about 4 years now and finally have had time to tear anything I can find bolted on, off. Im going through it as best I can. One issue was steering. Extremely difficult one way but not the other. Steering box is good when front end up. Front axle and spindle bearings totally worn out. The radius rods were bent like crazy and I have figured it had a loader at one time
When I oulled front axle apart the axle pin was tore up. The bushing doesnt look too bad but the threads on the, i dont know what you call it, are completely gone. question is. can I just put a new pin in without it threading in since that front bracket and the piece that holds it from spinning and the ring that keeps it from going in will keep it from coming out. thanks in advance
