Ford 600 fuel shut off valve

Available at CNH. Yes, they will need to order it. Hint: Have your dealer put it on their next stock order to avoid shipping charges.

Do yourself a favor and get the correct O-ring.

-115 o-ring valve to tank BUNA N [NITRILE]
ID 11/16
OD 7/8
SECTION 3/32

It should be no problem running one down its a common o-ring nuttin special about it...

Hobo, it sounds to me like you are not familiar with the voodoo magic of O-rings. I'll bet that you have a dozen O-ring kit boxes stacked on a shelf that you bought before you figured out that you could never find the one that you need in a kit.

Since I made this post I learned how to size o-rings other than match are guess. I became a cheater and brought a o-ring sizing cone my o-ring teacher frowned on it : ) it sure beats measuring up the application tho...

What I don't have a local milling supply house does. I also buy in 50/100 packs from

https://www.mcmaster.com/o-rings

Other common o-rings used on a Ford tractor.

Sorry, CNH is Case New Holland, the company that bought Ford Farm Equipment years ago.

Very little demand for vintage Ford tractor parts these days so few if any dealers stock such parts.

Just good business practice.

I used a O ring kit from harbor freight for all of it. 16 months, lots of use, still no leaks

Just good business practice, if you call a mail order retail store that then I recon so... They are banking you are not smart enoufh to size an o-ring and stick it to ya with out lube... If they sale just 2 they have paid for a bag of 100 that leaves $490.00 profit left in that bag... Everyone's happy... I doubt stocking a 0-ring is gonna break them and I bet the same o-ring is used on quite a few CNH tractors...

Since when are CNH tractor dealers "mail order retail store?"

I simply fail to understand your comment.

They may as well be one if they can not afford to stock common off the self parts that you can find at a hardware store...
