Identifying 4000

Hi there, have been looking over our 4000 that my dad purchased new in '67, and can only find numbers on the right side of the tranny + the motor, would these tell me the year, place made etc?
Trans numbers 7B 7C, C5NN 7006 AB
Motor C5NN 6015 7018r

My guess is the numbers you've found are cast into the tractor.
Look for some numbers that are Hand Stamped into the bell housing just above and to the rear of the starter.
You will likely need to scrape off some crud or paint to read them. See photo.

The numbers you need are hand stamped into the top of the clutch housing just behind the starter.
Should look something like this.

In addition to the information already provided on where to look for the stamped numbers, there might also be a sticker on th eunder side of the right hood panel above the battery that has those same numbers as well as some additional ones.
