Need to know is this for a TSX-428 and or a TSX-580. It has 2 sets of 2 holes and 2 sets of 4 holes. If not either carburetor what does it fit Thanks

I suspect that nozzle was used in many different models of
MS carbs, some for Ford, others not, including the 428/580.
The first picture is of the nozzle that comes in the kit for a 428.
It looks like yours but that's subjective.

It is not for the TSX-33/241 N series carbs as those nozzles had
two sets of threads and different holes like the second picture.
Note the small threads all the way to the right.

It is also not for the big bore carbs used on the later tractors
like the 769 and 813 as those carbs had the main adjuster on the
bottom and the nozzle screwed in from the bottom through the
same hole that the adjuster goes in. They don't have a hex head
at all, just a screwdriver slot in the end to screw them in.
Hope that helps!

You say main jet, I always heard these called nozzles and sometimes main nozzles. I cant find a number on it. Any other carburetors it might fit.

IIRC, OEM jets, etc. typically have part numbers or size nmbers stamped in them.

The nice shiny new one in your photo is likely an aftermarket reproduction, perhaps even form "The Land of Almost Right" and seems like they don't stamp an I.D. on them.
