Disc Harrow 4630 w/FWD

Mounted Disc Harrow - would a 9'-0" model be ok for a 4630 with FWD. I've run a M-F #25 that is 7 1/2" wide, don't even know it is there. Assume the larger one to be a good fit.

Opinions, comments certainly welcome.

My 3000 lifts and pulls this 8' 201 handily.
My 4000 plays with it.

Looks like it is doing a good job too. Should be no problem for this tractor to lift and it's seemingly a good fit. Ironically, it's the same model disc harrow as yours.

You might need some front weights unless the 4630 has a loader. Other than that a 9 foot disk should be a good match to your tractor. I have pulled a 10 ft wheel lift IH disk with a 960 Ford and 4000 Ford and they both did fine (unless it?s too wet).

I was thinking so based on the size of it, knowing how the M-F #25 pulled in the soil here even after moldboard plowing, not too big but just wide enough to be a good fit. I've got 4 suitcase weights and the carrier on this tractor, I think that should do it. I had contemplated getting the center weight with the pin and tow hook, was still available, but now shows NLA. This tractor never had a loader on it.

I guess we will find out, made a deal for the disc harrow, and it turns out to be in very nice condition, could not touch a new one for the price.
