4600 with a 7310 loader

Don?t have a manual for the loader, but any idea how much weight
could safely lift and move around with the loader? Considering buying
some pallet forks. Not planning on bouncing thru the field in road
gear or anything. More like unloading trailers and just setting the load
off into the dry. Maybe a little short drive on blacktop. I?ve move 5x5
rolls before and never had an issue. Honestly thought it might get a
little unstable, but never did.

That's a nice loader, late model quick-attach, easy to take off of the tractor when not needed, if it has quick-attach bucket option it's a very desirable loader.
My info says built from 93-06 and used on models up to the TL100.
Should have enough lifting power to handle anything the tractor can carry, but like any farm loader I wouldn't want to doze with it.

When picking heavy loads....

I always put a round bale on the rear before moving round bales with the front.

Or hand the biggest or longest implement I have on the rear... helps with traction... a big shredder or brush hog for instance..

Filling rear tires with fluid also helps a bunch. Staying on flat ground, going slow, and not turning fast, keeping load close to ground,... all help keep it stable.

Picking up a big load? keep the load close to the loader pivot...will pick up more than putting hay forks on the bucket and pushing the load out further. I'm guessing a 1200-1300 round bale would make the "overload valve" squeal a bit but pick it up slowly,,, where a 1000 lb bale would be easy. Remember the round bale has a lot of weight away from the pivot and leverage will work against you.

I have a Westendorf TA26 only 4600. Its rated for something like 2200 pounds. I imagine yours will be similar. I've moved many high moisture round bales in the 1700-2000# range. I have fluid in my rear tires, but if I don't have a bale on the 3-point forks, I have almost no traction with one of those bales out front. 4x6 dry rounds (1300-1400#) are noticeably easier to lift and move without the extra weight on the back.
