#14 in the diagram below.
These are always kind if a pia to install in the sides of the rear main cap but I always managed to get them in okay.
This gasket set is from Tisco and these side seals are made out of a dense green plastic instead of the black rubber ones I'm used to.
They were very hard to get in plus
the plastic wants to shave off a few particles as you install the cap.
I didn't trust them so after torquing down the cap I lifted it back up about 1/8" and found the particles between the cap and block.
Maybe enough to prevent the cap from seating fully and increasing your bearing clearance by half a thou or more.
I went in there with the point of a fillet knife, cleaned it up and blew it out then inspected closely with a good light. Glad I did.
If any of you install these new green ones make sure you check this.
I think I'll contact Tisco about it too.
