Ford 2000 4 cylinder with 134 gas or 144 diesel built after Aug '62 with adjustable front axle. Four speed with pto. Some of the light industrials had a one piece solid front axle Your tractor was built the last week in june 1965. Not sure what the symbol is after the serial number. This was basically the last of the 4 cyl except for maybe the offsets. They were build the square nose 3 cylinders at the same time.

Thanks for the info. Is the bottom number the serial #? I would of thought by then they would all be 172 CI ?

Sorry I meant the symbol after the model number, top one. Yes bottom one is serial number. The 2000 is 134 or 144D The 4000 is 172. It's possible the engine could have been changed out. Post the letters/numbers on the bottom section right side of block.

21201 is the model number. If it was a light industrial the middle digit would be a 3 instead of a 2. I don't know if they even made a Heavy Duty Industrial model in the 2000 series, as I think those were only offered in the 4000 series, but if they did the middle digit would be a 4.

The front axle is adjustable. Why do you say the transmission is ag curious what the difference is?
Thanks David

I was trying to see if you had a industrial tractor that has had a transmission from a ag tractor put into it or if you had a ag tractor that has been repainted industrial colors with industrial stickers.

The fact that it has a ag adjustable front end and a ag model number stamped on the transmission tells me that is a ag tractor that has been repainted.

I will take some better pic's and post of the tran's sure looks like a factory 2000 Loader Backhoe to me. No 3PT no hydraulic controls on top of the tran's like a ag tractor?

The ag chassis models had the same transmission, PTO and hydraulics options available as the industrials. Most industrial models did not have a PTO or 3 point hydraulics, but they could be ordered with them. Most ag models had PTO and 3 point, but some did not, and yours is one of those.

Breakdown of your 21201 model number:

First 2 = 2000 series
First 1 = made in 1963 or later
Next 2 characters, 20 = General purpose ag chassis with adjustable front axle.
Final 1, on 1963+ tractors = 4 speed transmission without PTO or 3 point hydraulics.
