Air Cleaner Help

Looking for a air cleaner end piece for a 2910. NH online parts shows it to be part # D8NN9643BA11Z and #12 in the attached diagram. However everyone selling aftermarket parts has it cross over to a cover that is almost 10" in diameter and is way too big. I would really like to have the canister end cap, adapter bolt, and nut. I will be more than happy to settle for just the metal end cap though. Thanks for any help!

Is yours diesel or gas? They used different air cleaner assemblies and the caps were different sizes. The picture you posted is of the diesel assembly. the part number for the cap for the gasser is C5NE9661A and looks to be smaller.
 

There is no end cap for that setup, the rubber seal on the outer filter covers the end of the canister with the wing nut holding the filter in place.
The cover you see "item #12" is for the industrial models that don't have the flip up nose piece, same cover as used on the earlier -600 series with the one piece radiator shell.
My 6610 has the same style air cleaner, install the inner filter using the nut and gasket, install the outer filter, tighten the wing nut, close the flip up nose panel and install the pre cleaner.
 
If that is in fact true, it is a very bad design and that rubber seal barely covers the edge gap. However you can look up parts by serial number on NH and that cover does not mention it is row crop or industrial specific. Thanks for the info though, appreciate it!
 

All that rubber seals does is help direct the air thru the pre cleaner, the air still has to go thru the filters so no unfiltered air goes to the engine.
If you look at the listing you posted of item #12 it states in the description that it fits the 230A, 530A which are industrial models with the older style grill shells, it covers the hole in the side of those grill shells, your tractor doesn't have that hole.
