801 Owner need pics of DECALS LOCATIONS.

I have an 841 - originally a Sherman Back Hoe and
Ford LOADER. I have Re-powered with a 172 engine.
Installed all Hydraulics and 3 point. Have it running
with no major issues. And was amazed that
my transplanted hydraulics and piston pump
immediately lifted the 3 point without hiccups.

I have 'soundguy's' listing of the locations of the
600 -800 and 601-801 Decal set.

I will follow the 600-800 locations for my
now 841 but I am confused with the under hood
decals placement. It looks like proof meter, vented cap,
fuel valve, and battery, are all located on the underside
of the hood.
Wording says proof meter 4" back from hinge brace.
[i:4d42982485](which? front?) (That is pretty far from the instruments.)[/i:4d42982485]
Then other decals back from it.
[i:4d42982485](What direction is back?)[/i:4d42982485]

If someone can post a few pictures it would help me out.
Searching internet pictures with google finds none.

An 841 had a 172 engine to begin with. The term Re-power generally means, at least to me, that the original engine was replaced with something different.

I'm not certain but would think all 800's have the same decal placements. George Bradish sells many repop decals and he would know - call him. LINK at bottom.

In my case I am correct. When I bought the backhoe it came
with a 1968 CJ5 engine. (sheet metal crank pulley)
(starter on opposite side) (Pump on the PTO). (boat gas
tank). It wasn't long before it was
inoperable.

I went to Bradish
As far as I can see he has all the decals plus more.

But nowhere can I find illustrated instructions.

"A picture is worth a thousand words."

Wow, sounds like you saved it from a cruel previous owner.

As Tim said, have you tried calling George Bradish? Simply because his web site doesn't have the pictures that you're looking for doesn't mean that he doesn't have the knowledge that you seek.

I'll call George

George told me that applying decals on the 100 series
tractors was not set in stone till many years later.
Often assemblers would wing it on the assembly line
and they are often moved from where people
think they should be.

I followed the instructions on the
800 series for under the hood and came up
with the following.
