We started out on a 8n, drop loader with trip bucket and no power steering... We cleared lots of land and did lots of work. Back when we had lots of time an no money. Later we had a lot less time and a little money, we moved up to a better tractor.
Not that that tractor would not work, Its not an easy tractor to work with. For occasional use, it would be ok, but for lots of use, I would spend about double that and get a really modern tractor with a modern loader..
However condition is everything and loader tractors can be plumb wore out or tore up so inspect carefully for one in good shape for the same price as one not maintained.
If your using it a lot,, I would move up.
