Ford 641 Diesel Injector Pump

A friend here at work has a Ford 641 Diesel.
His fuel injection pump is leaking.
Is there any shop where he can send it off to get rebuilt?

John P, you want to really evaluate the whole situation before you spend much on the pump. The diesel in the 601 is near impossible to get parts for. I sent the pump on my 901 to a rebuilder advertised here and it came back no better than it left. I lived with it for another three years, then bit the bullet and took it to a local shop even though it it cost 2.5 times more than the first place cost. Since getting it back a year and a half ago the tractor has been better than new. I would not spend the money on the pump unless I had a good indications that the rest of the motor is in very good condition.
