Ford 3600 hydraulic potential problem

We spoke of this the other day. So I have the tube back together with a new nut from CNH as was suggested and the price was right on. I'm in business but have a general question before I attempt to do any lifting with a remote cylinder. Will the pressure safety valve that protects the 3 pt basic system also protect the remote valve circuit? Mean to say, if I hold the remote lever engaged after the remote cylinder is completely extended, will I blow that line off the pump again. Not that I'd mean to do it but will that relief valve protect me or is there some sort of bypass n the remote that I need to inspect? What prevents deadhead and excessive pressure at the pump. Sorry if the questions are stupid

The PRV on both the 3000 and 3600 is down where the pressure line enters the center housing. So I would say (guess?) That everything after it would be protected.
Good you got it working. Hope it holds for you.
