Brought Ken's 545 up to the land
yesterday and we set this deer blind up
on posts with it.
I thought the color of the tractor
blended in with the surrounding leaves
pretty well.
That tractor is an awesome machine.
I used the loader/forks to move about 15
trees that blew down in some straight-
line winds a year ago.
Piled them up in large piles on the edge
of the field and will let them rot down.
It will pick up a whole tree like it's a
match stick.
Ran it for 4 or 5 hours yesterday.

I recently got a set of loader forks from a friend in a trade deal. My hip arthritis has recently gotten much worse, so I have to try very hard to not carry anything. I took a 40 foot tree down a week and a half ago and with the forks I was able to get it all either down back to rot or on the burn pile without carrying any. Surgery is scheduled for Dec. 18 so I will be good for snowmobiling this winter.

Looks like a deluxe out house, UD.

Is that the septic directly beneath?

P.S. I lost your email address. I'm going to use YT to send something to you (if it will allow attachments).

(quoted from post at 06:34:52 10/19/19) Colin, who is your surgeon? I've had left hip and both knees replaced by Dr Benson, in Manchester! We'll be praying for you! Dave

Dave, I will be getting it done at CMC by Dr. Gonzales of Dartmouth Hitchcock. He has done both of my knees.

It's surprising what they will get used
to. We built this blind 2 years ago but
couldn't get things together to get it
lifted so Mike just hunted out of it
sitting on blocks on the ground.
He had deer browsing within a few feet
of it several times.
