What is the Difference in the 7000 vs 7600

I am looking at buying another Tractor and was wondering what the differences in the 5000 vs 5600 on up to 7000 vs 7600. Is there any big advantage of the 600 series tractors over the older version? It will just be a chore tractor to leave on one of the small farms I run cattle on so I don't have to haul a tractor out there every time I need to brush hog etc..

There are subtle differences... IIRC... the 600 series...
Had improved hydraulic flow.. more gpm than the 1000 series...
Had improved power steering over the 1000 series, smaller steering wheel
had slightly higher injection pressures, and piston design???
exhaust moved further from driver to meet euro noise standards
had alternator on all tractor models although a 7000 has one.
Had tach drive moved to engine drive over a generator drive.
had paper air filter to lessen possible emissions due to oil bath filters.
all had external hydraulic filter even though the 7000 also did.
had load monitor and two speed pto option more often than the 7000 did, as some/lot of 7000's i see NOT have the two speed pto option and all of the 7600/7700s that I see do have it.

Maybe someone else will confirm my observations.

All things equal, the 7600 is a easier tractor to drive and plow with and bit quieter. However condition is more important overall.

Good coverage overall of the differences.

Load Monitor and 2-speed PTO were standard on the 76/7700 models. I believe LM was standard on the 7000, and 2-speed PTO was optional.

The difference between the hydraulic filters was that the 7000 filter was a return filter, and the 7600 was a suction filter.

The 7600 is a refined 7000, and is a very nice machine overall. The biggest problem with them, in my opinion, is the cooling system package. Not enough square footage for a radiator, meaning it needs to be thick to keep it cool. Of course, this means it plugs up easily.

Pretty well covered the differences.
A 7000's tach is driven off the injection
pump. A 7000 also has a paper air
filter... all factory turboed Fords do.
A 5600 has a 233 engine, like the early
5000's, while a 6600 has a 256 like the
late 5000's. (The exception to this is
the '81 Blue Power Specials... the 5600
was bumped to 256 c.i. and the 6600 was
bumped to 268.c.i.)
