Does anyone know what type of grease the cap out use? Does the grease get sucked though the cap or something else? I can unscrew the cap and I see grease in the cap. I have no clue when the cap was refilled last.

As you screw the cap down, it forces grease into the tube.

The greasable throw-out bearing was designed for those industrial applications that use the clutch
constantly, day in and day out. If that doesn't describe your operation, I frankly wouldn't worry about it.
That said, you could certainly remove the cup and put a zerk fitting in its place if you'd like. If you do
that, grease sparingly.
