Hello. Have a ford 3000 left to me from my father. Can anyone give me information about what year it's from? Posting picture with numbers. Thanks.

Model C1213C
C= 3000 chassis built 4/1968 - 1975
12 = Highway Tractor
1 = Diesel
3 = Live 540 PTO
C = 8 speed
Ford built several derivitives on the 3000 platform. All Purpose, Utility, Industrial, Narrow, Vinyard, LCG (low center of gravity), Highway, etc.
I don't believe I've ever seen a Highway tractor and have wondered how it differs from a standard or all purpose 3000. If you could post some more photos of it I would appreciate it.
Generally, the 3000s are considered to be great, bullet proof small tractors and with the 8 speed, live pto options and in my opinion, the diesel are the best of the bunch.
PS,
Welcome to the Ford Board.

If you are going to hang out with old tractor guys leave your hood down and wear a seed cap. Just sayin.

👍
I've got one that says 'Northtown Ford' on it. Only cost me about $26000, but I did also get a Ford Flex along with it, for my wife.
