Rest-O-Ride Seat

Having problems removing the roll pins on the seat so I can dis-assemble to replace the bushings. I have tried a roll pin punch set and soaking with PB Blaster but no success. Afraid to use heat because of the close proximity to the rubber shocks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No doubt about it they are extremely tough. My recommendation is to go on to a different project and keep applying the oil.

I did three of them late last year/early this year. [b:0f0db444f0]Link on YT[/b:0f0db444f0]
Those pins can be a bugger. I soaked them good and used a pair
of Vice Grips to squeeze the gap shut on each end which helped
let the penetrating oil in and break them loose.

From a different experience, I can tell you they don't drill out well.
