clutch in a 7700

I am replacing the clutch in a 7700 ford, my question is on the flywheel there is 2 doll pins on the flywheel where the pressure plate would bolt up, and I have 2 shims that were on those doll pins that seemed to shim the pressure plate away from the flywheel, but no shims where there were no doll pins?

Had shims when new, needs them. Some used flat washers instead of the long shims.

Should be 4 shims measuring .090 - .100" thick as shown in location #7 at the link below. Using only 2 shims
could warp the pressure plate I would think.

The factory never used flat washers, although they would certainly work if they were the correct thickness.

I thought it odd that they used any kind of spacer,
