3600 vacuum advance

Helping with my friends 3600 gas. Distributor adjustment is way to one side. I am just guessing the vacuum advance is shot. What is odd to me is that it is a very hard part to find . The ones I do find are all pictured with a port for a rubber vacuum line. This tractor has a steel line. Is it really a rare part?

On my motors I just ended up plugging up the hole in the carb where the line goes and the tractors run fine. I have a 3000 engine a 3 cyl 4000 engine. I couldn't find the line anywhere

ep, ought to be fine w/o it. High performance engines of the '60s didn't have it from the factory, such as 375hp Corvette, 409, etc.

It may be that someone has removed the distributor and put it back one tooth off which then would make it in time with the adjustment nearly at the end.
