The nut on the thermostart reservoir line on my 66 3000 cracked and busted while tightening it up. This model has the actual reservoir for the thermostart and not a T in the fuel line and also feeds the return to the tank. If I were to cap these lines off temporarily until I find a replacement line (no longer in production) would it effect the operation of the fuel system? It s still 98 degrees here in NW NC and I m planning on putting a heater on the tractor when it does get cold so the thermostart wouldn t be much of an issue unless it snows. Just wanted to get some opinions before I did this.
