simms fuel pump ford 4000

(quoted from post at 09:33:24 10/03/19)
They didn't use a Sims pump on the 4000 models.
Some 3000 models had Sims pumps.

Ok. Well I know it's a simms pump I was told it was a 4000 could be wrong but I can see the simms emblem on the pump. So I know I need a delivery valve and cap for a simms.

Someone may have swapped a 3000 engine or installed a 3000's fuel system onto a 4000.
You don't have enough posts to load photos on this site but could you email me a photo of the tractor and one of the pump.

A swap is very possible. It is not letting me email you

Look for the engine serial number down low on the right side of the block in the location circled in red in the picture below. A 3000 series engine s/n would start with an "N" or a "C", and a 4000 series engine would start with a "P" or a "D".

Got your photos
Your tractor appears to be a early model 3400 Utility which is a industrial version of the 3000 model.
It is not a 4000 model.

There's 2 delivery valves for that pump depending on the year model of the tractor
C0NN9D512A used on 6000 models and pre 67 3000, 5000 models
C7NN9D512A was used on post 67 3000, 5000, 7000 and later series Fords with Sims pumps.

There's a couple of pump guys on this forum that may be able to help you find the part you need.

C7nn 6015 k is the raised casting number. The engine serial number is down lower, in the smooth flat spot in the middle of the red oval in the picture I posted. The numbers are much smaller than those raised numbers that you posted, and they are stamped into the flat spot and are not raised up.

A quick Google search on C7NN6015K shows that its a 3000 series engine without having to find the engine serial number though.
