You can get a lot of clues from a picture.
This style bolster and axle tells you something.
Then it's a gasser with early block, has manual steering box and side arm PS.
Note the extra lugs bottom/middle of the transmission, twin hyd lift handles, newer flow control, one tire in the background and something red, IPTO handle.

I painted Ken's tractor today.
It's getting to the end of the year for that here.
Ran out of Old 55 paint from Fleet Farm about 3/4 through the job. Mixed a whole nother quart of CNH stuff and shot that over everything. We always use hardener. High of only 63? today.
Maybe it'll stick. Maybe not.
At least there's plenty of it.
Ken is great at mixing. I nearly had to force him to use lacquer thinner in enamel. Now he likes it, especially on a cool day.
Sold the nose off a 3000 to a guy while I was there. He T boned a lady in her car with his 3000. Her fault. He was happy to find a decent old style nose at a fair price.
He wasn't certain which of us was the biggest thief but I'm sure he'd buy from us again.
It was a fun afternoon with Kenny and Fords and I came home richer than when I left.

If you figure out how, let me know. We only usd about 4 or 5 days of summer here, and the crops show it. I'd gladly take a few 90? days... as long as they don't usher in more storms.
