There is some air blowing from the air intake stack.

It seems fresh air no exhaust smell

It is supposed to be vaccuum at air intake.

Engine runs well good power no smoke.

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance

Bart

On any engine that "pops back" on the intake side, I pull the valve cover and check all rocker arms. When an exhaust valve does not open as it should there will be trapped cylinder pressure that will then pop back through the intake side when that valve opens. Could be a too loose setting, push rod out of place, or a broken rocker.

or intake valve too tight/burnt/damaged seat, and its blowing back on the compression stroke some or a lot.
