860 clutch disks

I couldn't resist tearing down the old clutch assembly to see what the disks looked like, even though I don't have the repair parts :-(

It looks like the discs got rusted to the plates not too long ago.

It sat(disassembled)on my tailgate overnight to get the rust starting. It was surprisingly pretty clean when I pulled it apart.
 
I just finished my 861 clutch replacement myself. Go ahead and take your medicine like a big boy. Shuck out from 3 to 4 hundred
dollars and get a pre-assembled clutch pack with release bearing,pilot bearing, and double clutch assembly.You may want to check the
release bearing carrier also. Mine seized up and and spun on the carrier and wore the shoulder down that holds the release bearing
tight on carrier. It goes back together easier than you think
