Ford 600 lower rear hood panel

Can this panel be removed without removing the right and left hood panels first. Would be easier to get to to the back of the gauges. What would be easiest method to get to the back of the ammeter to replace it?

You can easily remove the battery and oil bath air cleaner for
easier access would also be an opportune time to service the oil
bath air cleaner.

The entire hood is easily removed, or just tilted forward. Remove the bolts holding the side panels below the instrument panel, and loosen or remove the bolts
below and to the left and right of the radiator.

I have had hoods off a few times. I would remove the battery and air cleaner for that job.
