A Big Thanks to The Old Hokie

He helped me out getting the loader hooked on my 871 with a FarmHand loader on it. I bought it not running and the loader was not hooked up. It had no front hydraulic pump. The TOH recommended i buy an hv4902 adapter plate and it installs on top of the lift arm hydraulic plate. I did that and got it installed with a couple of new hydraulic hoses and I'm good to go.

Google hv4902 adapter or go to EBAY and type in hv4902 adapter plate. I bought mine for $48.95 + free shipping

(quoted from post at 19:07:01 08/29/19) Will that adapter work on a 960?
To run a hay Tedder or hydraulic
rake?

I really have no idea but I'm running three big fatty cylinders on this loader and it works fine

The same adapter plate will work on a 960. As to whether the 3 point pump will provide enough flow for your implements to work at a satisfactory speed is subjective. That pump only provides around 4.7 gpm of flow even though it can provide over 2000 psi, so it will be able to lift a lot of weight due to the psi ratiing, but if the cylinders have a large cross section it will be slow in doing so.

That adapter will provide flow to a remotely located valve to operate what ever you want but you can't simply connect a tedder or other piece of equipment directly to the adapter.
In this case the adapter is suppling oil to the loaders control valve.
