On my '67 Ford 3000 new wiring harness

It seems the colors of wires on the new harness are for a US version tractor, but of course my tractor was made in England. Is there a chart that shows where the wire colors go? I am getting some second hand info here, so forgive me if I am off base. I got the harness here.

Diesel with generator.

OK got them sorted, my original image was too big.

This is the wiring harness I received. There are no brown-yellow, brown-green, white-yellow, brown-red, blue-red, blue-white, white-brown, white-green, or green-black wires. There is a white-red, a small brown, and some small blacks, small whites, small reds, a small blue, a small green, and a small red-black. I understand that this is not a complete harness, but there seems to be a lot that will not match up. Thank you, F O T

This is a link to the same exact part number, but as you can see it has a bunch of large and small brown wires. The harness I received only has one very small brown wire.

I have some more info I will dig it out in the morning. Have you done the 12 volt alternator conversion ? Just forget the old factory wiring .

That I am not sure of. I have only had the tractor since December 2018. The battery has 6 cells (places for acid fill), I always assumed that made it a 12v battery. I guess I better get it figured out. What all is involved with 12v conversion?

That tractor had a 12 volt negative ground electrical system when it left the factory. The charging system was originally a generator and external voltage regulator.

Earlier Ford tractors had 6 volt systems, so lots of folks call an alternator conversion a 12V alternator conversion without thinking about whether the particular tractor was 12 volts to begin with. He should have just asked if it had been converted to an alternator.

What a relief your post has been to me. I have been wondering if I damaged my tractor by using a 12v charger and booster to start it.

Thank you, F O T

BTW it still has the generator.
