Jubilee snow plow

I want to install a snow plow (unknown
make/model) onto my jubilee. Plow is
hydraulic lift and gravity down. I don't
have a selector valve or external
hydraulics on this tractor. What are my
options for plumbing tractor hydraulics
to the plow?

Run a hose from the test port of the 3x5 plate to the plow cylinder and chain the 3 point lift arms down, then the 3 point control handle can control the plow lift cylinder.

You might give member The Hokie a shout on the N Board. I know he's done some messing with thw hydraulics on those. Maybe built a power beyond plate that he sells.

You can add a remote valve to replace the 3x5 plate. Make sure that the one that you get can be set for a single acting cylinder (power up and gravity down). That will allow almost simultaneous operation of the plow cylinder and the 3 point lift. Or you can buy a simpler diverter valve which also replaces the 3x5 plat and will allow you to switch between the plow cylinder and 3 point lift without chaining the 3 point arms down.

Sean,
He needs it for his Jubilee.
They used a different size/shaped plate
on those. Remote and diverter valves
were available but they're not nearly as
common as those for the 1955+ tractors.

Ultradog, thanks for catching that. I've only worked on a couple of NAA's and that was so long ago that I forgot about the differences between them and the hundred/'01 series in the hydraulics.
