I have a 641 and today . I go down hill and now my tractor will not come back up. I tried a few times to only make it halfway. Now it doesn t have enough power to move from a parked position I noticed the clutch needed to lift almost all the way up to shift which is higher then normal

Describe a little bit about what you are hearing, feeling, smelling seeing when you are trying to get it to move.

If shifts but it seems easier. In first and reverse the tractor will
move about two inches. It doesn?t smoke. The hydraulic pump
does make a noise the sounds like it?s low on fluid.

It runs great. I looked at the transmission fluid it?s low and
yellow. Going to replace tomorrow. Hopefully this is the
problem

(quoted from post at 16:54:35 08/22/19) You're saying that it seems to shift easier with the clutch pedal higher up?

Yeah it s weird like no pressure now

It sounds like you have no lack of power but instead your clutch is slipping. There is often very little warning when they go out. They can go from performing daily tasks one day to refusing to the next. Your clutch pedal is supposed to have a 1.5 inches of free play at the top. In other words, when you press on it, it should move down 1.5 inches before you feel resistance. if you have resistance at the top, you can unhook one end of the horizontal rod with the clevis at each end and twist the ends apart to achieve the 1.5 inches. Most likely you are going to need a new clutch. Also check under the bell housing where the clutch lives, and look for a 3/16 hole with half of a cotter pin hanging out of it.

Yeah another guy was saying maybe clutch, i looks at the fluid and it was yellow and low, so going to replace and see if this helps. why would i be looking for the cotter pin hanging out for?

As I said the clutch lives in the bell housing which is between the engine and transmission. Most standard transmission vehicles have a hole in the bottom of the bell housing at the lowest point so that if the seal on either side leaks oil into the bell housing it will drip out the hole. Tractors have a cotter pin in the hole to keep it from getting plugged with oily dust. If it is plugged the oil level will rise and cause the clutch to slip as yours is. Changing the oil won't hurt it but it won't help your clutch at all.
