A friend is working on a 600, not sure yet but believe it is piston pump, haven't got the serial number yet, but how does one bleed the system and where would one hook up a pressure gauge. Manual is in the
process of being gotten!
Thanks

Bleeder screw right on the pump...just loosen it while running

ou can connect a pressure gauge to that same spot, too, but remember that the pressure will only be proportional to the load being lifted. You will need ~1200+pounds to trip the over pressure relief.

I was wondering about using that port, but did not think the weight required. As of now the arms only go up about half way.
Thanks for the information.

ou would need a low pressure gauge (~40psi) to read anything with no load & same gauge would be destroyed with good load being lifted.

I just joined the group. I've got a 640 . I was looking at this amazing pic and wondering was this a factory power steering system?

I was the one who restored this tractor. The power steering was on it when I got it. I assume it was factory made
