trying to find the best source to get the B+ for the Battery terminal...Im not sure but I think its allaways live so it must
either come from the live terminal of the ignition or straight from battery ? Personallly if its suppose to be live all the time
then I would rather run a separate wire ...so can I just run a wire to battery and be done with it?....maybe a inline 25 amp fuse
too.?

Hard to understand your post but I think that you are looking to get a source of power for something that you are adding to a vehicle. If that is the case, you are correct in running a fused dedicated wire from the positive pole of the battery. The rating of the fuse needs to be matched to the amp draw of the device as well as to the wire load rating. You will of course also need a ground wire, unless the device is being hard mounted to heavy steel or cast iron.

If you are looking for where to power the battery terminal of a voltage regulator from, it would be from the load side of the ammeter, if the tractor has an ammeter. Otherwise it won't show charging. If you have a voltmeter it can come from the battery or battery terminal of the starter relay/solenoid.

Someone may have a specific wiring diagram, if you post what you are working on.

The regulators B+ terminal gets it power from the battery post on the starter on a diesel, on a gas it comes from the battery post on the solenoid.
From the regulator it goes to the key switch and to the hot post on the generator.

These wires are part of the wiring harness.
