Hydraulic pressure build up.

Gentlemen, I've purchased a Ford 8600 tractor. Nice running old tractor. I'm having a issue of hydraulic fluid building up too much internal pressure and causing leaks through the dip stick tube and, if the cap is not on tight, all the way up through the fill point up by gas tank. Tractor seems to function ok but when everything get warmed up the fluid starts a flowing out of these places.

The sump itself is vented to the outside air and there should be no real pressure there.

What does the fluid look like? Is it foamy or does it look like chocolate milk or a chocolate milkshake?

Foamy could be a clogged filter.

Looking like chocolate milk or a milkshake is water mixed with the fluid.

If the fluid looks normal, then there just may be too much fluid in the sump. Check the level when warm with all cylinders extended. If it is above the full line on the dipstick at that point then drain it down until it's at the full line.
