Ford 4000 Power steering leak?

Learning this tractor very slowly with each fix I have to make on it.

I've got a leak that just showed up right under the steering wheel. The guy that sold me the tractor a few months ago said that he thought the power steering fluid was leaking from somewhere but never could find where. I may have found it now.

Anyway...I've taken the cap off the steering wheel and there is a nut there but it doesn't unscrew. It just turns but nothing unscrews.

Any idea how to get to the leak and how to fix it?

Seals in the steering column need replaced. Not a huge job, but takes some time the first time you do it. The nut on top does, or should, unscrew and then you can pull the steering wheel. The hood and dash need to come off too, unhook power steering lines, then pull the column. If the search function here works for you, there should be several old posts explaining in better detail than I can.

Thanks! This sounds like something a tractor mechanic should do. I'm ok with the simple stuff but maybe I'll make a call this time.
