7700 fuel sending follow up

A special shoutout to sotx bill and Sean in pa for their help on my fuel gauge issue. After testing everything and talking with a local ford expert I found out the the gauge itself actually comes out of the dash. Took the plastic off the dash cover and what was happening was when switching tanks on the selector the fuel gauge would jump way past full and stick about 5 o?clock on the gauge but knock it loose and would read normal so my simple solution was the drill two small holes at full and empty and insert small pins as stops. Now my fuel gauge works perfect. A lot of frustration later it was literally a 10 cent fix. Thanks guys
