Split the tractor to change the trans seals. Put the tractor together. Added 5 gallons new hydraulic fluid. The lift doesn t work at all. I assume the pump needs bleeding. How to?

No need to bleed a gear pump.
Just run it a bit and it will self
prime.
That is of course IF you don't have an
air leak on the suction side.

Where did you add the 5 gallons of fluid? On that model tractor the hydraulics sump is the rear axle center housing which is a separate sump from the transmission.
