3000 brake job

I am trying to replace the brake shoes on my 3000 but I have no luck removing the drum. I have used heat, a slide hammer and a jury rigged puller-- no luck! Any advice welcome. Thanks

There are 3 raised points around the outside of the drum. Heat, heat and more heat than a sledge hammer on these points equally.

This may be silly question but have you slackened adjuster.

Thanks for the response. I did loosen the adjuster, this thing is rock solid. I have had tough ones before but never like this beast. I did my 850 a while back and they popped right off. I am going to find a bigger tip for my torch and try again this weekend. Hate to pound so hard on it but what can I do? May be there is a puller out there thst would fit.
