Ford 6610 oil in radiator

I wipe off the radiator cap every once and a while. I m guessing the motor went porous. Would that be the block or the head? I ve said before that it also goes through antifreeze, but there s none in the oil pan yet. Right now it has been getting distilled water since the temperature is warmer out. The last few times have been antifreeze about three or so cups added.

Oil in the water is most likely an oil cooler failure. A porous block almost always puts water in the oil. Head gasket failures are virtually non-existent in those engines.

I should have been more clear on my statement about head gasket failures. When I said that it's rare that
they fail, it was with reference to oil and water swapping, and/or fire ring failures. It IS rather common
for them to leak water and/or oil externally down the side of the block, but that usually only creates a
visual problem and not much more.
