Hello, I have a 801 that's a 841 series with 4 speed transmission. Tractor after a lot of blood, sweat and not to many tears is in good shape, starts and runs like a champ and the hydraulics, all controls and brakes work great! The problem I'm having it the tractor is to fast!..I have ran it down the road in 4 gear wide open and I can't believe how fast this little tractor is. So scraping the driveway, pulling a little dirt around in first gear by throttle position works good. But I hooked my 3 point hitch rotor tiller to it and set enough speed to get close to 540 pto speed the tractor in first gear is just to fast and if I try to throttle back to slow down ground speed the tractor will lug and shut off if I slow down the ground speed too much by the throttle it. Am I missing something to slow down ground speed or is this just the way the tractor is built? A high and low range would be great!
Thanks
Scotty
