841 injector pump

Help!
The injector pump is leaking around the top seam, where the cap attaches. Apparently a seal has failed.
It looks pretty easy to take off, but I want to make sure. Also, it doesn't look like parts are easy to find for this pump. It's a Roosa Master. It runs ok so I don't want to have the pump rebuilt.
Thanks!

If you only want gasket/o-ring/seal for the cover that is held on with 3 screws and perhaps the throttle shaft o-rings they are available from your JD dealer if you ask for the parts for a 3-cylinder 820 that has a Roosa Master pump built back in the 70's or so. The cover seal is an easy fix, the throttle shaft seals is a little more involved. Cost of parts is about $15.

Well, I should have been clear. This is a Ford 4 cylinder 172 Cu In engine. The cover has 4 screws.
I was able to get banjo washers for it at the JD dealer today, though...

Parts are very easy to find for your pump. You can buy the basic seal kit on eBay for less than $40.00. Or you can go to your nearest diesel injection shop and by the seals you need . . . and for a lot less than a JD dealer will charge . . . and the pump shop will have them on hand.

My shop of choice - Midwest Diesel very friendly and helpful folks.

What sort of 172 Ford are you finding with an injection pump with a four-bolt cover? I cannot say I ever seen such a thing. I have two of them. Rotary-distributor Stanadyne-Roosamaster with a three-bolt cover.

That was pretty easy. I was worried that if I took the cap off, parts would fly all over the barn.
Had to remove 2 lines to get the cap off, and then just an o ring seal.
Thanks for the help.

Cover takes three screws on any of the pumps I have seen on the 172 Ford. You have me stumped. Pump should be something like a Roosa Master/Stanadyne DBO-2933, DBGVCC429-4C, DBGVCC429-5C, DBGVCC429-8AJ, DBGVCC429-14AJ, DBGVCC429-4AJ, DBGVCC429-5AJ

Give it up! You're talking a different part than the OP. His transfer case end cap, as has already been stated, bolts with 4 bolts! It could be called a cover.
