Pretty but pricey Jub

Yes, nice tractor but this is the reason why, when I'm asked about restoring an old ford tractor, I tell them you'll never get your money back out of it, unless it's a '39 with an aluminum hood. If it's your Dad's or Grandpa's tractor that's a different story or if you don't care about money then have at it because if you are truly restoring then it will cost you way more money then the tractor is worth.

Nice looking, and would have brought asking price 12-15 years ago but the seller will be VERY lucky to approach his asking price these days.

(quoted from post at 07:58:11 05/23/19) Even took the time to type out all of his labor....and in the end, got the colors wrong.

To bad, but true. other wise it's a nice looking tractor.

Like the 9n I use to have, someone painted it blue, I use to park it next to my other 9n which was correct color. people would always say the blue one was the older one.

I love all the over-spray on the concrete! He's so anxious to make a quick buck he didnt have the time to drive it away from the spot where the loader was painted!
Apparently he also didnt have time fit the sheet-metal a bit better or even to mask off the exposed ends of the lift cylinders either....

I bought this Jubilee for $800 a few weeks ago. 120 miles north. Not as pretty but runs fine after a little work. Not as pretty but neaer 1/10th the price plus it came with a loader I can stick on if wanted.

On the subject of older Fords in northern Michigan. This one was for sale 30 miles from me. 861 and looks pretty nice. Live PTO, 5 speed trans. Has a lot more then any Jubilee. Price as I recall was $4600 with a loader and a rear rototiller. Not sure what it sold for, but the tractor itself is now sold, but the loader and tiller are now for sale separate.
