40 Series Powerstar question

Does anyone know if the digital instrument cluster on 40 series tractors have a 5 digit hour meter or 4 digit? I don?t think I?ve seen a tractor or cluster that
made it to 10,000. I saw an ad for an 8240 elsewhere that begs the question. Thanks in advance.

I can't answer your question about the digital dash with certainty, but I can say that the analog dashes were 5 digit, so I suspect that the digital ones were as well.

My 8240 had close to 7,000 hours on it when I sold it. My 9000 shows a little under 3,000 hours but my cousin, who I bought it from, told me that the hour meter is the third one in it and that it has over 10,000 hours on it.
