I don't get it.
Messicks, on the page you took the
screen cap of, shows part #28 which you
arrowed to, as 251310 - available for
$8.05
Where did you get the $52 price from?

It's no longer available from Messicks. Amazon wants $125 for a CNH part. Not sure if Wells ($55.00) is genuine FNH or aftermarket.

Strange.
I bought one at my dealer within the
last year.
Well, it is just a simple seal that any
bearing house can get. I have bought
them there too. Even Napa can measure
the old one up and get it for you.

If you are asking me, no I don't.
Go to a bearing house.
I went to Tull Bearing in Minneapolis on
my way home from work today.
Am working on 2 tractors here, a 4600
and 3 cyl 4000.
Bought two pairs of transmission input
shaft seals for them. Also bought two
pairs of brake/clutch cross-shaft seals
for them.
The guy there measured up my old ones.
Had the sizes in stock.
Total price for all 8 seals was $58.58
with tax.
Am guessing yours shouldn't be more than
about $7.

why does the one part number show a KIT OF SEALS....

if it is the kit of all the seals and orings, then $55 may actually be reasonable. If its one seal, then heck no...
